Itinerary

  • Day 1: Chandigarh to Shimla

    Your journey begins from Chandigarh as you head towards Shimla, the charming capital of Himachal Pradesh. The drive takes around 3–4 hours and offers scenic views of hills, pine forests, and valleys. Upon arrival in Shimla, check into your hotel and take some time to relax. In the evening, explore Mall Road, The Ridge, and Lakkar Bazaar, where you can enjoy shopping, local snacks, and the colonial-era charm of the town.

  • Day 2: Shimla Local Sightseeing – Kufri Excursion

    After breakfast, head out for a full-day sightseeing tour of Shimla and nearby Kufri, located just 16 km away. Kufri is popular for its adventure park, Himalayan Nature Park, and winter snow activities. Return to Shimla to visit Jakhoo Temple, perched on a hilltop with panoramic views, and Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India. Enjoy another evening stroll on Mall Road, soak in the chilly breeze, and relish some hot momos or coffee.

  • Day 3: Shimla to Manali via Kullu

    After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Manali, one of the most popular hill stations in India. The drive takes approximately 8 hours and passes through the beautiful Kullu Valley, where you can witness the flowing Beas River, Pandoh Dam, and rolling green hills. You can also stop in Kullu for river rafting or visit a local shawl weaving factory. On reaching Manali, check into your hotel and unwind.

  • Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing

    Today is reserved for exploring the best of Manali. Start with a visit to the ancient Hadimba Devi Temple, surrounded by deodar trees, followed by Manu Temple, Tibetan Monastery, Club House, and Van Vihar. Later, head to Solang Valley, a hub for adventure sports such as paragliding, zip-lining, zorbing, and skiing during winters. You can also ride the Solang ropeway for stunning views. In the evening, visit Old Manali or shop at Mall Road.

  • Day 5: Excursion to Rohtang Pass / Atal Tunnel / Sissu (Subject to Permission & Weather)

    After breakfast, get ready for an adventurous day trip to Rohtang Pass or through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu (depending on road and weather conditions). Rohtang Pass, at an altitude of 13,050 ft, offers majestic snow-covered landscapes and opportunities for snow activities like skiing, snow scooter rides, and sledding. If Rohtang is closed, you can still enjoy the beauty of Gulaba, Marhi, and Kothi. Return to Manali by evening and relax at the hotel.

  • Day 6: Manali to Chandigarh – Departure

    After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey to Chandigarh. The drive takes approximately 8–9 hours. Enjoy the peaceful mountain views one last time as you bid farewell to the serene beauty of Himachal Pradesh. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, you will be dropped at the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying back a heart full of unforgettable memories.
