  • Day 1: Chandigarh to Narkanda (Approx. 180 km / 6-7 hrs)

    Your Spiti Valley adventure begins with a drive from Chandigarh to Narkanda. As you leave the plains behind, the winding mountain roads take you through the scenic beauty of Shimla hills and apple orchards. Narkanda offers stunning views of snow-covered peaks and peaceful surroundings. Check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Narkanda.

  • Day 2: Narkanda to Kalpa (Approx. 160 km / 6-7 hrs)

    After breakfast, drive towards Kalpa in the Kinnaur district. En route, enjoy mesmerizing views of the Sutlej River and pass through towns like Rampur and Reckong Peo. On reaching Kalpa, you’ll be welcomed by spectacular views of the Kinner Kailash range. Visit Suicide Point, Roghi Village, and enjoy a peaceful evening in this quaint Himalayan town.   • Day 3: Kalpa to Tabo via Nako (Approx. 180 km / 7-8 hrs)

    Today is a scenic drive from Kalpa to Tabo, with a stop at Nako Village, famous for its lake and ancient monastery. Experience the changing landscape as you enter the cold desert region of Spiti. After visiting Nako Monastery, continue towards Tabo. Once in Tabo, explore the Tabo Monastery, over a thousand years old and full of ancient murals. Overnight stay in Tabo.

  • Day 4: Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar & Pin Valley (Approx. 70 km / 4-5 hrs)

    Post breakfast, head to Kaza, the administrative capital of Spiti Valley. On the way, stop by the beautiful Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff. If time permits, explore Pin Valley, a hidden gem known for its unique landscapes and wildlife. Arrive in Kaza by evening and relax. Overnight stay in Kaza.

  • Day 5: Kaza Sightseeing – Key, Kibber, Hikkim, Langza, and Komic

    This day is reserved for exploring the remote high-altitude villages and monasteries of Spiti. Start with a visit to the famous Key Monastery, then head to Kibber, one of the highest motorable villages. Continue to Hikkim (home to the world’s highest post office), Langza (known for fossils), and Komic (one of the highest villages in Asia). Return to Kaza for overnight stay.

  • Day 6: Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass (Approx. 100 km / 6-7 hrs)

    Begin your journey to the magical Chandratal Lake, also known as the "Moon Lake". Cross the majestic Kunzum Pass en route, and take in breathtaking views of the rugged Spiti terrain. On arrival, walk a short distance to the lake, where the reflection of the mountains on the water is truly enchanting. Spend the night at a camp near Chandratal under a blanket of stars.

  • Day 7: Chandratal to Manali (Approx. 130 km / 6-7 hrs)

    Leave Chandratal early and head towards Manali via Batal, Chhatru, and Rohtang Pass. This stretch is a bit rough but incredibly scenic, with waterfalls, glaciers, and mountain rivers lining your route. Reach Manali by evening and check into your hotel. Enjoy a hot meal and rest after an adventurous journey. Overnight stay in Manali.

  • Day 8: Manali to Chandigarh (Approx. 300 km / 8-9 hrs)

    After breakfast, start your return journey to Chandigarh, marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti Valley road trip. Drive along the Beas River, passing through Kullu and Mandi. Arrive in Chandigarh by evening, with your heart full of memories and your camera full of stunning shots.
